To ensure your round is enjoyable, we direct your attention to the following rules and regulations that pertain to our members and guests. The intent of the code is to help sustain the quality of membership and standard of excellence upon which Saratoga Country Club exists. 


Dress Code: Golf Course & Practice Facilities

Appropriate golf attire is required for all members, juniors and guests.
 Denim/blue jean apparel is not permitted.
 Golfers must wear shirts with a collar or turtleneck. Collarless shirts are permitted if specifically designed for golf.
 Shirts that are designed to be tucked in must be tucked in at all times, e.g. a shirt with a tail.
 Shirts worn outside the pants or skirt are allowed, if they are designed to be worn outside the pants or skirt, e.g. a shirt with a banded waist.
 Regardless of design, any shirt that extends 6” beyond the waist must be tucked in.
 Women’s sleeveless shirts must have a wide shoulder seam (no tank tops).
 Long pants, knickers or appropriate length shorts (e.g., Bermuda shorts or similar).
 Shorts must be no shorter than mid- thigh.
 Shorts and pants must be worn pulled up to the waistline. Belts are recommended.
 Hats and visors shall be worn with the bill forward and only outside the clubhouse.
 Must wear golf shoes (soft spikes) or athletic sneakers.
 Sweatshirts are permitted if worn with visible collared or turtle neck shirts


Golf Carts

Golf carts are to be driven on the cart path only at all times.  All operators of golf carts must have a valid motor vehicle license. A maximum of two persons per cart. Golf carts are not permitted off property at any time. 


Course Care

Please repair ball marks, replace divots and rake all bunkers


Slow Play

A maximim of two hours and fifteen minutes per nine holes. Close attention to the speed of play is important. Always keep pace with the group in front of you.
