General Information The club offers a complete recreation facility for the entire family, including golf, tennis, swimming, fitness center, fine dining and more. As customary with most private country clubs, the membership holds 100% ownership interest in the land and all improvements. There are currently two categories of membership authorized, 308 full-golf and 172 social-tennis. Both categories of membership hold a proprietary interest by stock ownership. Saratoga Country Club is located on approximately 100 acres in the secluded foothills of Saratoga and offers scenic views of Santa Clara Valley. Saratoga Country Club was formed in April 1958 and first opened for play June 6, 1962. Six tennis courts were opened for play in 1972, and the second floor of the clubhouse, dining room and lounge was added in 1974.
Golf Membership The member and eligible family members are entitled to full use of all facilities including the golf course. When there is a waiting list for membership, those interested in a full golf membership are encouraged to purchase a social membership while waiting and are allowed to apply the price paid towards purchase of a full golf membership through the Club's sales program.		Tennis and Social Memberships The member and eligible family members are entitled to full use of all Club facilities except the golf course, which is limited to privileges as a guest up to twice per month. Unique to Saratoga Country Club, social members can upgrade to a full golf membership and apply the membership equity towards purchase through the Club's sales program.
